Attached house. c1780. Stucco and limestone dressings, brick gable stack and slate and tile roof. Double-depth plan. Mid Georgian style. 2 storeys and attic; 5-window range. Pilaster strips to a moulded parapet coping; good right-hand elliptical-arched doorway has a raised surround, imposts, timber batswing fanlight and margin lights, pilaster jambs and a 6-panel door. 6/6-pane horned sashes in exposed frames, 3 to the ground floor, and a central first-floor French window; 2 hipped dormers with 3/6-pane sashes. First-floor timber balcony with cast-iron brackets and railings with oval panels. Roof tiled to the front, coped left-hand gable and stack. INTERIOR not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: cast-iron front garden railings and gate with urn finials, and domed piers. (Gomme A: Street Index of Buildings of Architectural or Historic Interest: 29).
