Blind arcade. Late medieval, probably re-set mid C18. Limestone ashlar and rubble. Gothic. 2 large pointed ashlar arches below rubble arches set in rubble wall, mouldings fade into left-hand reveal; below is an ogee-headed piscina without a bowl. HISTORICAL NOTE: fragmentary remains of a C14-C15 major merchant's house, Canynge's House, extensively rebuilt mid C18 and demolished in 1937. A fine tiled pavement from it is housed in the British Museum. (No.97 not included.)
