House, now office. Early C19. Limestone ashlar, roof not visible. Double-depth plan. Late Georgian style. 3 storeys; 4-window range. A near symmetrical front has wide pilasters to a cornice and parapet, banded ground floor, and first-floor sill band. Right-of-centre doorway has recessed jambs with impost mouldings, a stained-glass overlight with margin panes and a 6-panel door. C19 shop fronts each side have consoles to the fascia, plate glass, with semicircular-arched glazing bars. 6/6-pane sashes, smaller on the second floor, with fine bars. To the right is a 2-storey block with a raking parapet, banded ground floor with an elliptical-arched carriage entrance with incised voussoirs and 2-leaf timber gates, and a similarly arched opening above with a C20 window. INTERIOR: central hall with a rear dogleg stair with stick balusters and wreathed rail, cornices and 6-panel doors.
