Attached house. c1820. Brick with limestone dressings, rubble party walls and basement, party wall stack and pantile hipped double-pile roof. Double-depth plan. Late Georgian style. 3 storeys and basement; 2-window range. Cornice and parapet, right-hand doorway has a semicircular brick arch with imposts and key, engraved plate-glass fanlight and 6-panel door. 5 stepped voussoirs to 6/6-pane sashes, 3/3-panes to the second floor. The rear has 1-window range. INTERIOR: entrance hall divided by a semicircular arch on pilasters, a central dogleg stair with stick balusters, ramped rail and column newels, 4-panel doors and panelled shutters; originally a cistern to the rear adjoining the basement. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached front area railings and gates, and steps up to the doorway; attached rear garden walls and former stable. Built against the right-hand house, (now demolished), whose ashlar flank wall can still be seen at the back.
