GV II

House, now shop and office. C18, refronted late C19. Brick with limestone dressings and a tiled mansard roof. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys and attic; 4-window range. C19 shop front has attached moulded columns to large fluted consoles and fascia, 3 elliptical arches and a right-hand doorway with decorative grille to the overlight. Pilaster strips above to a cornice and tall parapet. Shouldered architraves with cornice to first-floor windows, plain surrounds with sill blocks to second floor, to plate-glass sashes. 3 semicircular-arched dormers. INTERIOR: largely remodelled c1980. Nos 26-30 (qv) now form internally one building.
