Pair of houses, now one divided into flats. Mid-late C19. Rendered with stone dressings and a slate mansard roof. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys and attic; 2-window range. Divided by ground- and second-floor cornices, and a first-floor cornice over the windows; right-hand entrance has paired doorways with attached colonnettes to a shouldered lintel with a central cast-iron enriched column, to doorways with rectangular overlights and half-glazed doors. Full-height left-hand canted 3-light bay has moulded corners, shouldered heads and moulded sills, right-hand windows in flat architraves with moulded reveals and shouldered heads, narrower on the second floor, with 2/2-pane horned sashes. Tall dormers to the bay have weathered jambs and pediments on kneelers, and a segmental pediment to the round-arched right-hand window. INTERIOR not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached cast-iron front area railings. Terminates the good group of listed buildings along Sion Hill. Included for group value.
