House. Mid C19. Limestone ashlar and right-hand gable-end stacks, and a slate roof. 2 storeys and basement; 3-window range. Pronounced quoins, deep eaves with fretted barge-boards, and 2 storey recesses with 4-centred arches linked by impost bands, with similarly arched ground-floor French windows and first-floor sash windows; full-width tented wrought-iron verandah with batswing braces, and conical tented blinds over the first-floor windows; round and octagonal decorative stacks; a flight of Pennant steps up to a right-hand porch and Tudor-arched door. INTERIOR: a curved dogleg stair from the right-hand hall. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: a greenhouse with brick rear wall and 5-sided glazed front has Tudor-arched windows and gabled mullions.
