Terrace of 2 attached pairs. Mid C19. Limestone ashlar, party wall stacks, roof not visible. Double-depth plan. Late Georgian style. Each house of 3 storeys and basement; 3-window range. Matching pairs have a projecting 4-window range middle with a rusticated ground floor, giant pilasters to the corners and centre, first-floor sill band, frieze and dentil cornice, and a parapet. Entrances set back at each side have semicircular-arched doorways with moulded imposts and archivolts, dentil cornices and C20 doors. C20 shops built over the former front areas, second-floor windows have balustrades and raised console cornices, smaller cornices above the outer windows, to 6/6-pane and plate-glass sashes. INTERIOR not inspected. Forms part of a group, with Nos 71 & 73 (qv), of attached pairs with recessed links between them.
