House, now guesthouse. Late C18 to probably C17 core. Painted brick; rubble; plain tile roof; brick ridge and end stacks. 3-storeys and cellar; 5-window range: 6/6 sashes with timber sills under gauged brick flat arches; storey band; 3/6 sashes; storey band; parapet with brick coping. Central opening has door with 6 fielded-panels set in beaded frame under moulded flat hood on grooved consoles, fixed onto door jambs. Passage to rear has blocked doorway to left and stop chamfered spine beam. To left, 2 early C19, 6/6 sashes under gauged brick flat arches, with storey band over. To right, similar early C19, 6/6 sash in altered opening. Right returned side: gable of rubble with C18 brickwork to chimney. 2-storey wing to rear has C19, 6/6 sash under segmental arch; storey band; ground floor has casement partly under segmental arch; part-glazed door and overlight; storey band. Further ranges have rubble to ground floors with brickwork over; leaded lights. C19 brick malt house range. Firemark. INTERIOR: C18 corner fireplace with ornate grate and surround to ground floor front; moulded ceilings and panelling to ground and 1st floors; C17 and C18, 2 and 4 panel doors; exposed timbers; dogleg and winder staircase with stick and spat balusters.
