Shops and dwellings. Late C19 front to probably C17 core. Stucco; slate roof; C19 cross axial brick stack to left front. 3-storeys and cellar; 2-window range: late C19 mullion and transom windows with casements, in moulded cases, with wood sills; similar over; boarded soffit to eaves; late C19 roof dormer with 2-light casement and weatherboarded gable. Early C20 shopfronts: to left, 3/4 glazed door in moulded case, with, to right, canted mirror, and, to left, plate glass window, all with moulded glazing shafts; to right, late C20 half-glazed door, with earlier overlight and case, and, to right, plate glass window with moulded case; moulded fascia board on plain pilasters, overall. INTERIOR: cellars partly stone lined, partly C18 brickwork with massive main joists; massive ogee stop chamfered ceiling joists to ground and 1st floors; C18 dogleg staircase and inscribed roof timber, to No.7.
