GV II

House, now a bank. Mid C18. Ham Hill stone ashlar with slate roof. L-shaped plan. 2 storeys; symmetrical 5-window range. All windows have moulded architraves and keystones; 6/6-panes to the first-floor and C20 horned plate-glass sashes to the ground floor.The central doorcase is Tuscan-style with entablature, and to the far right is a higher C20 door in a moulded architrave with a projecting floating cornice. INTERIOR: noted to be altered. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: 4 sections of spearhead railings enclose narrow forecourts; they curve back to meet the building at the doors and to the far left window, which is a cash point.
