Former baths house. 1836. Stucco, chanelled to appear as ashlar. Single-storey. 4 windows. Central entrance with pedimented Greek Doric distyle in antis portico and doorway with moulded case and overlight above double panelled doors. 12-pane hornless sashes flank the entrance. Cornice and parapet. INTERIOR not inspected. This small scale Greek Revival building was part of the nucleus of the new resort, providing hot and cold baths. Runnymede (qv), The Baths House (qv), the Entrance to tunnels, pool and beaches (qv), Nos 1-3 (consec) Bath Place (qv) and Nos 2 & 3 Wilder Road (qv) form a group.
