Small detached house. C17, much altered C19 and C20. Rendered stonework, thatched roof. Front to road (W) has broad coped gable to right, and smaller raised hipped gable to left. Two-room cross-passage plan, but interior altered in C20. One storey and attic; 2-windowed. Thatch swept down between and either side of gables; 6-pane sashes above 6-pane C20 windows to ground floor. Near centre is small C19 4-panel door, now glazed, down 2 steps within stone-cheeked porch with flat slab roof. Back has gable to left with small square light to attic, and to right a very small eyebrow dormer over a narrow light, a door, and a small recessed-chamfer light. The C20 wing to left. Interior not inspected, but reported as substantially modified in C20. (Royal Commission on Historical Monuments: Dorset: London: 1970-: 259).
