Farmhouse and attached threshing barn. C18 with early C19
extension on the left and mid C19 threshing barn on the right.
Slatehanging to early C19 part, painted rubble to original
house and slatestone rubble walls to barn. Slate roofs, hipped
over house extension otherwise gable ends; axial rubble stack
to middle of original house and slate-hung stack over rear
wall of extension. Single-depth plan except for double-depth
extension to house.
2 storeys, overall 4-window range. Irregular 1-window range of
original house to centre with central old lean-to porch and
planked door, integral coach house with double planked doors
on its right; 2-window extension on the left has original
sashes with glazing bars including tall stair window; doorway
towards left with panelled door. Barn on the right has central
1st-floor threshing/loading doorway with divided planked doors
under slate hood; C20 lean-to under doorway; shuttered window
on the left; small window opening over and pigeon holes under
the eaves. Further loading doorway to right-hand end. House
has 2-window left-hand return with original sashes including
tripartite sash on the left glazing bars.
INTERIOR not inspected but former list description mentions
bread oven and associated chimney furniture.
