Town house with shop. 1855. By Henry Rice. Stucco front, slatehanging to left-hand end; dry Delabole slate roof with cast-iron ogee gutters over moulded cornice with dentils. Deep plan. 3 storeys; remarkably complete 2-window front in classical style. Original windows; 16-pane hornless sashes within moulded eared architraves with sills on corbels to stepped sill string to 2nd floor; triangular pediments on consoles over pilasters to round-headed traceried 2-light sashes on bracketed sills to 1st floor and double shop front with splayed doorway and slender columns flanking plate-glass lights; end pilasters with consoles and C20 applied fascia under full-width moulded cornice plus doorway on the left with 4-panel door and plain rectangular overlight. INTERIOR not inspected.
