3/41 Canterbury Headstone - approximately 4 metres east of chancel of Church of St Petrock
GV II
Headstone. Dated 1833 in memory of John Canterbury. Slate. Upright slab standing approximately 1.2 metres high with shaped head. On the front the top has a low bas relief carving of an angel in a roundel with drapery each side. This panel is supported by fluted pilasters with moulded caps and bases around the inscription which is set in a separate frame and records the death of John Canterbury in 1833.
