TROUTBECK BRIDGE 1. 1834 Nos 1 and 2 (Calgarth View) NY to SW 5/61 II GV 2. C18. Lime-washed stone rubble, graded slate roof, 2 chimneys (one of them round), 2 storeys. 2 doors with simple modern porches - the building was originally one house, but the door to No 2 has been inserted. 3 small windows on each floor, all new, with small panes. Gable end facing road is buttressed. Nos 1 and 2, Nos 13 to 17 (odd) and Post Office form a group on the main Windermere-Ambleside Road.
