MIDDLETON IN TEESDALE MARKET PLACE NY 9425 (West side)

24/113 Nos. 42-44 consecutive GV II 3 houses. Probably early C18. Limewashed coursed rubble, more irregular to No. 44,with painted tooled ashlar dressings. Stone-flagged roof with stone ridge, stone gable coping and ashlar chimneys. 2 storeys, 2 bays each. Flat lugged stone surrounds to renewed doors at right of each house; projecting stone sills and flat stone lintels to late C19 sashes at left. No. 44 at right has flat stone lintel over blocked first-floor door at right. Stepped chimney at left of each house.
