SK 18 54 PARISH OF PARWICH MAIN STREET 10/81 (South Side) Outbuilding to the north of the Fold

GV II

Outbuilding (formerly a pair of cottages). C17 rubble limestone with sandstone dressings. Stone slate roof and stone coped gables with moulded kneelers. Two storeys. Flush quoins. South east elevation - a doorway on the right and the left, each with quoins and stone lintel and plank door. Between them, a 2-light chamfer mullion window with similar 2-light window above and similar, but larger, 2-light window above and to the left. Used as a studio by the portrait painter Edward Halliday in the 1930s.
