SK 17 52 PARISH OF TISSINGTON CHAPEL LANE 11/127 (West Side) House and outbuilding south of slaughter house

GV II

House and outbuilding. Dated 1836. Coursed squared limestone with sandstone dressings. Plain tile roofs and stone coped gables with moulded kneelers. Stone gable end stack. Two storey house, single storey outbuildings. South elevation. Doorway with stone lintel and jambs linked to a 2-light square section flush mullion window. Single window above with stone lintel, sill and jambs. To the right, two cart entrances with massive impost slabs and massive lintels. East gable end with a square opening with stone lintel, sill and jambs and a plank door. In the gable a similar, but larger, opening and above it, a datestone. Listed for group value only.
