Between the terminal piers quadrant railed fences recess the double gates from the sides. They have moulded caps surmounted by balls. The top rails of the iron quadrant fences droop in broad curves and contain a series of spear-headed upright panels of lattice work framed by bands of circles and have ornate lyre-pattern.
