Headstone. Dated 1777 in memory of John and Frances Penny. Limestone. Upright
slab standing approximately 1 metre high with a shaped head. A sunken panel at the
top includes a bifurcated scroll following the shape of the head. The inscription,
neatly carved in Roman serif upper and lower case lettering records the death of
John Penny in 1736 and his wife Frances in 1777.
