2. Premises of the West Cumberland Farmers Trading Society Ltd. Late C19 4 storeys. 2 builds:- 5+5 windows. Squared coursed rubble with 2 sets of quoins, bands over each floor, moulded cornice and 3 kneelers. Coped verges to small slate roofs and a high brick firewall. Glazing bar windows with buck dressings and upper casements. Large through passage with cobbled and wheel-paved approach from street, semi-circular arch with quoins; string raised above this entrance. 2 office doors; a larger recent entrance to left. Tablet let into wall above office door in to right hand part of this building reads "A & C" over "Little" over "1884".

Nos 19 to 23 (odd) and the County Hotel form a group.
