SK 23 SW PARISH OF-SUTTON ON THE HILL HALL LANE 3/58 (South Side) Cheetham Arms Farmhouse II

Public house, now farmhouse. Early C19 with later C19 addition in similar style. Red brick with brick and stone dressings, plain tile roofs and brick gable stacks, plus sawtooth eaves band. Two storeys and two bays with two bay addition to west. North elevation has central basket arched stuccoed recess with segment headed doorcase within and a C20 glazed door. To either side C20 glazing bar sash style casement windows under cambered brick heads. Above, two similar shallower windows, and between a blank wooden signboard. Attached to west and slightly recessed the later wing which has a C20 glazed door below wedge stone lintel to east and a glazing bar sash under similar lintel to west. Above two C20 glazing bar sash type casements under wedge stone lintels.
