Farmhouse, probably C16 or earlier but much altered subsequently. Rendered brick walls, slate roofs with part-corbelled chimney at right gable and another on ridge of rear wing. T-shaped plan, 2 bays, with 2-bay rear wing. Two storeys; single storey porch with hipped roof offset right of centre, a small stairlight to left above V; all windows altered; rear wing is 2 lower storeys, has doorway in line with chimney stack, and altered windows. Interior: 1st floor partition between bays of front element has a very large arch-braced truss with a steeply cambered tie beam supported at the ends on wall posts; the arched braces to the beam are very deep and have chamfered soffits; rising from the apex of the truss is a post (possibly a kingpost); within the arch is a timber doorcase retained at each side by a rail, probably a later insertion.
