SP 8607 WENDOVER SOUTH STREET east side 10/280 No.17 King and Queen P.H. II Public House. C17 altered, Timber framed, largely refaced in brick, C18 or 19, now colourwashed, with some exposed framing. Old tiled roof, 2 brick chimneys. 2 gabled dormers. 2-storeys and attic, 3 bays of modern 3-light leaded casements to each floor with plain door in 2nd bay from LH. 1 storey wing to LH painted brick. Old tile roof, one 3-light casement, linked to No.15 which is not listed. Lower rear wing, brick. Old tile roof. RCHM I p.307 MON.14.
