Attached house, now offices. Late C18. Possibly by Thomas Paty. Stucco with limestone dressings, roof not visible. Double-depth plan. Late Georgian style. 3 storeys; 3-window range. A curved corner site with plate-glass shop front, with pilasters through a first-floor sill band to a coped parapet. 5 stepped voussoirs to plate-glass/6-pane first-floor and 3/6-pane second-floor sashes. INTERIOR not inspected. A matching corner site to No.49 High Street (qv) opposite, and part of Paty's comprehensive rebuilding of the city.
