Landscape building. Early/mid C18 with early C19 addition.
Coursed squared limestone rubble with ashlar dressings; tower
roof not visible, ashlar stack with embattled top to rear;
wing to right has stone slate roof with hip to left and ashlar
right-end stack with embattled top. Early/mid C18 two-storey
circular tower in neo-mediaeval style with later single-storey
wing in similar style to right which continues as lean-to to
rear of tower. Tower has 3 lancets, now unglazed, to first
floor in ashlar surrounds with small chamfers under
hoodmoulds; 2 similar windows without hoodmoulds to ground
floor front. Ashlar plinth; moulded string over first floor;
frieze and scalloped cornice; coped parapet with mock
arrow-slits in ashlar surrounds. Wing to right has one 3-light
timber window to front; quoins to right angle. Short length of
screen wall with coping to left masks projecting stair turret
and end of lean-to to rear from front and left side. INTERIOR
not inspected.
