Details
CROSTHWAITE AND LYTH CHURCH TOWN SD 49 SW 9/13 Ormandy House and 16.2.62 outbuilding (formerly listed as Yew Tree Farmhouse) II
House. Probably mid to late C18. Roughcast stone with slate roof. South facade of 2 storeys, 3 bays with 2-bay outbuilding to east. 2 dripcourses and moulded gutter on brackets. Central entrance plan. Segmental-headed windows are sashed with glazing bars, those to 1st and 3rd bays have paired sashes. Segmental-headed entrance has key and gabled canopy; 6-panel door. Gable-end stacks, that to west projects. Outbuilding has large entrance and casement windows to 1st floor. Rear has wooden mullioned window and round-headed stair window with small-paned glazing, the upper glazing bars intersected.
