Shop with offices over. Late C18. Limestone ashlar to front;
stone slate roof; brick ridge stack shared with 5 Castle
Street (qv). Rear range is coursed squared limestone rubble;
asbestos slate roof; brick stack between ranges. Double-pile
plan; one build with No.5 Castle Street (qv). 3-storey
2-window range. First floor has two 8/8-pane sashes in plain
reveals with stone cills; two similar 4/4-pane sashes to
second floor. Ground floor has pair of C20 plank doors to
right, shop front with glazed door and single plate glass
window to left, all within C20 surround articulated by 4
pilaster strips and with frieze and moulded cornice over.
