Details
SK 38/3925 PARISH OF MELBOURNE POTTER STREET 6/165 (South Side) Nos 58 and 60 GV II Pair of houses, both with shops to ground floor. Early C19 with late C19 alterations. Red brick with painted stone dressings and slate roofs with brick gable stacks, plus dentilled eaves band. Each house has three storeys and a single bay. No 58 to west has a C20 half-glazed door with small paned overlight, to east and a glazing bar sash to west. Above there is a similar window and above again, a similar smaller window. No 60 has a late C19 shop front with central, recessed, glazed doors below a plain overlight flanked by canted single pane windows, set in a pilastered surround with moulded cornice to top. Above there is a glazing bar sash and above again there is a similar, smaller window. All openings have rusticated wedge lintels with keystones. Included for group value only.
