Churchyard walls, piers and gates. c1823. By Sir Robert Smirke. Pennant ashlar, rubble, and limestone dressings. Ashlar piers with lamps, outer semicircular arches set in rubble walls, each opening with two-leaf wrought-iron gates. Tall retaining wall, fronting Charlotte Street and Hill Street; extends along the northeast side of the churchyard, and connects with the side walls to Hill Street (qv).
