Lock, 1770; restored 1980s. By James Brindley with R.Whitworth and S. Simcock, engineers. Brick with stone coping. Lock has double lower and single upper gates; overflow channel to south. One of a flight of 21 locks on the Birmingham Canal, Wolverhampton level.
