Public house. C16 with later alterations and early C19 addition. Brick and timber-framing with painted brick infill; thatched and tiled roof with brick end stack and stack to front of ridge. 2 storeys; 3-window range with 3-window addition to right. Brick ground floor with some wall posts and timber-frame to 1st floor. Windows have casements of 2 and 3 lights; 1st floor has 2 windows with casements with iron opening casements. Addition has tile roof and cogged brick cornice; segmental-headed entrance with segmental-headed window to left with 3-light small-paned casement and segmental-headed carriage entrance to right; 1st-floor windows have brick sills and margin-light sashes. Left return has entrance with plank door and casements to both floors. Rear pitch of roof is tiled. INTERIOR: chamfered beams.
