House, early C16, altered early C18 and early C19. 2 storeys and attics; 3
windows. Gault brick with parapets and dentil cornice. Plaintiled roof with
axial chimneys of red brick. Small-pane sash windows with gauged brick flat
arches. Recessed entrance porch with pediment and flat pilasters of gault
brick. Early C16 timber-framed core on north side, probably 2-cell with axial
chimney: first floor structure of roll-moulded beams and joists, formerly with
jettied upper floor at east end wall. House extended and re-roofed c.1700,
forming double-pile plan. New entrance front formed early C19 by extending to
west in gault brick.
