Two shops and archway to left. Dated 1826. Stucco with painted stone keystones and sills; gabled slate roof; brick ridge stack. Double-depth plan. Two storeys, four-window range. No.12, to left, has C19 plate glass shop front with reeded surround, central door and moulded cornice above. Mid C20 shop front to No.14. First floor has four 8/8-pane sash windows with keystones. Wing to rear of No.14, formerly a terraced house in Howards Row, is separately listed (qv).

INTERIOR: ground-floor altered to shop, first-floor not inspected. Round-arched carriage entrance with keystone and imposts to far left; plaque reading "Howard's Row" to front and datestone to rear.
