Inn. Mid to late C19. Rendered, slate roof. Long L-plan with main block to Hambro Road. Three storeys with basement, 2-windowed. At second floor 4-pane sashes in plat band, blocked ends to cills, above deeper 4-pane sash with moulded architrave and cornice, plain cill. Ground floor has original part-glazed front in rusticated pilasters carrying full-width fascia on 5-light wide window above 2 painted panels. To left a C19 part glazed door with plain overlight, and with blocked doorway, right. Bold moulded cornice and blocking course with 2 finials to raised centre with small scroll supporters. Brick stacks to right eaves. Left, in Belle Vue Terrace, a 1+2 windowed frontage, with, left, 16-pane sashes in plat band at two levels, then between pilasters, paired small 4-pane, separated by panel with, in raised sans-serif BRITANNIA, over an arched panel with flat shell motif and 'EPCo', all above continuous cornice and fascia above 3 windows and 3 doors with small-paned casements above glazed olive green wall tiling. Pilasters to end of frontage and to doors. To right, at second-floor level, a diamond set panel with arms above a bold raised square panel with ELDRIDGE POPE & CO. An unaltered C19 pub design.
