1. THAMES STREET
5130 (West Side) No 2 SU 9676 NE 3/218 II GV 2. Circa 1890 timber framed Jacobean front. 4 storeys with painted plastered infill. 2 gables, the left hand one jettied over 3rd floor. 2 windows - leaded casements. 2 storey oriel bay to 1st and 2nd floors on left hand. To right hand on lst floor, a 4 light window with tent hood and wood balustrade set in front. Stained wood pilastered bank front, arched entrance with carved spandrels. Included for group interest.
No 2 Thames Street; Knights Tavern; Nos 5 to 16 (consec) Thames Street and Nos 18 to 25 (consec)Thames Street, form an important group.
