SX2453 LOWER STREET, East Looe 857-1/4/40 (South West side) Former Warehouse

GV II

Warehouse, now partly converted to flats. Mid C19. Rubble walls with brick segmental arches; dry slate roof with deep projecting eaves. Large rectangular plan, now subdivided. 3 storeys over basement; 7-window range. Original 6-pane hopper windows to 3 ground floor windows, otherwise C20 windows. Basement and ground floor openings at 3 left-hand bays now combined as doorways with overlights to 2 of them. Rear has similar openings and spacing. Wide doorway cut C20 on the left. INTERIOR: not inspected except to note heavy cross beams to ground floor. Included for group value.
