House, and attached iron railings. Early C19. Red Flemish-bond brickwork with traces of tuck pointing. Gabled roof of Welsh slate. 3 storeys with cellars. EXTERIOR: wide eaves overhang and, on 2nd floor, a recessed wide shallow double-hung sash window of 8 panes and reeded surrounds either side of a blind window recess. First floor has 2 similar double-hung sash windows of squarish proportion and central blind window recess. All windows have flat rubbed brick arches. Ground floor has again 2 similar windows and a central doorcase with reeded and banded jambs, reeded architrave, roundels at intersections and flat hood. Contemporary pine door has 6 flush panels. Flight of 3 stone steps and high black plinth with 2 cellar openings. INTERIOR not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: high quality wrought-iron and cast-iron railings on ball feet resting on stone curbs.
