House. 1812-14, with c1820 alterations. Painted brick; tile roof with slate front pitch and brick end stacks. Gable facing, front to left. Georgian style. 2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range. Wide eaves soffit. Entrance has moulded doorcase with paterae and bracketed canopy, overlight to 6-panel C20 door. Flanking 2-storey canted bay windows, probably c1820, have cornice to ground floor and entablature to 1st floor, with 4:12:4-pane sashes; small central 1st-floor window has 2-light casement. Gabled rear wing and parallel range. Right return has 2 gables, that to left shewing shallower front pitch; entrance with C20 door and small square windows; one 1st-floor window to left has rubbed brick flat arch over 16-pane sash. INTERIOR: recorded as having 2 fireplaces, moulded doorcases to panelled doors; C20 staircase and arched ceiling to small landing corridor.
