GV II

Town house, now office. Early C18, with c1800 front. Timber-frame, brick front with buff headers; tile roof with brick end stack. Georgian style. 2 storeys with attic; symmetrical 3-window range. Centre breaks forward under pedimental gable; brick plinth and platt band over ground floor; top modillioned brick cornice and gable. Round-headed entrance has bracketed open pediment, fanlight with decorative glazing bars over 6-fielded-panelled door. Windows have rubbed brick flat arches with keys over 16-pane sashes in moulded frames; 2 hipped dormers with 2-light leaded casements flanking lunette window with key to brick arch and 3-light glazing.
