House, now offices and flat. Late C18/early C19. Cement
render; concrete tile roof, hipped to left, to main range,
Welsh slate roof to rear extension; rear axial stack coursed
limestone rubble and brick, now truncated, brick left-end
stack to rear extension.
2 storeys and attic; 2-window range. First floor has two
6/6-pane sashes in recessed unmoulded surrounds with
projecting cills; ground floor has one 6/6-pane horned sash in
plain reveal to left, 6-panel door with upper 2 panels glazed
with overlight with margin glazing in plain reveal to right.
One hipped dormer with 2-light glazing bar casement to right.
Shallow plinth. Left side has to first floor one 2/2- 6/6-
2/2-pane triple sash with timber mullions, one 6/6-pane sash
to left in extension to rear; ground floor has C20 glazed door
with surrounding glazed panels arranged in similar pattern to
triple sash above; hipped dormer with 3-light timber casement.
C20 single-storey extension to ground floor. Rear has 2-storey
lean-to extension with two 6/6-pane sashes and 2 single-light
glazing bar casements to first floor, ground floor not
visible; one gabled dormer with 2-light timber casement.
INTERIOR has stick baluster winder staircase from ground to
first floor; first floor left has boxed-out beam and late C18
stone fireplace said to retain grate behind blocking; first
floor right has similar boxed-out beam; first floor rear left
has small stone fireplace with timber architrave; second floor
has late C18 fireplace to left end, C19 four-panel doors,
early wide floorboards, heavy roof structure largely concealed
has trenched or threaded purlins; ground floor left (No.86B)
has boxed-out beam.
