EBBERSTON MAIN STREET (east side) No 46

(Formerly listed as Cottages attached to south of Brook Cottage (formerly known as the Top Stores))

GV II Former pair of cottages. Two builds: mid - late C18 with early C19 addition to left; later alteration. Dressed sandstone with herringbone tooled quoins; pantile roof; brick stacks. One and a half storey, four window front. C20 part-glazed door with heavy plain lintel to centre left. Four-panel door to centre right, flanked by two-light, small-pane, horizontal sliding sashes, all with tripartite keyed lintels. Window at end left is a canted bay with shutters and heavy plain lintel. Four two-light, small-pane, horizontal sliding sashes to first floor. Coped gable and plain kneeler to right. End and left of centre stacks.
