Shops with flats over. Mid/late C18, possibly with earlier
origins, and C19 additions to rear. Stucco to front, coursed
squared limestone to rear wing, brick to rear lean-to; Welsh
slate roofs; stone and brick axial stack to rear of main
range. 2 brick stacks on rear wing, one now truncated, and one
brick ridge stack. 3 storeys, attic and cellar; 4-window
range. First floor has four 6/6-pane sashes in plain reveals;
second floor has 4 similar windows. Ground floor has two C20
shopfronts, to right (No.38) in late C19/early C20 surround
with console brackets, frieze and dentil cornice. 4-panel door
to centre opens into through-passage to rear. 2 hipped dormers
with C19 two-light timber casements. Plat band over first
floor; moulded timber fascia board at eaves. INTERIORS not
inspected.
