House, now hall of residence. Early C19, altered mid C19. Limestone ashlar and render, roof not visible. Late Georgian style. 3 storeys; 5-window range. A near-symmetrical front has a taller 3-window centre section set forward with ground-floor semicircular-arched recesses, a cornice and parapet, and a similar arch to the right-hand section with a C20 door. French windows, with first-floor wrought-iron basket balconies. The left-hand section has a late C19 three-window bay with architraves and a central doorway, cornice and parapet, with 6/6-pane sashes above. INTERIOR not inspected, but reported to be much altered. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached cast-iron railings to rear area; the front terrace has central double steps up, fronted with squared coursed Pennant, with good wrought-iron railings with leaves and a central semicircular-arched panel.
