Village house. C18 or possibly older. Slatehanging over rubble plinth to front; hipped and sprocketted rag slate roof with paired brackets to projecting front eaves; 2 rendered rear lateral stacks and rubble stack to rear gable of wing. Shallow-depth plan plus wing at rear left. 2 storeys; 4-window range. C18 or early C19 tall 18-pane hornless sashes to 1st floor; early C19 sixteen-pane hornless sashes below and segmental-arched rendered porch under second from left window; 6-panel door. INTERIOR: original dog-leg stair with closed string, turned balusters and moulded handrail. Ceiling of right-hand room lower than window heads suggesting a C18 refronting of older house.
