4/41 South View

G.V. II House. Late C18 with C19 extensions. Red brick with a pantile roof. 2 gable and single ridge red brick stacks. Eaves and 1st floor bands. 2 storeys, 4 bays. The right single bay being a later C19 extension. The bay 2nd from the left, containing the doorway, slightly projects and is topped with a pediment. Doorway with 6 fielded panel door, traceried overlight and wooden architrave surround. To the right are 2 glazing bar Yorkshire sashes. To the left, in a late C19 single storey projecting bay with slate roof, is a single glazing bar sash. Above are 4 glazing bar Yorkshire sashes. All Yorkshire sashes have wooden frames, flush splayed brick lintels and slightly projecting keystones. To the left, set back, is a red brick lean-to with single fixed light. To the right is a red brick lean-to with single brick stack. To the rear are 2 storey extensions.
