GV II

Town house, later 3 houses. C18 on older site. Rubble walls with timber lintels; steep dry slate roof; cast-iron ogee gutter. Double-depth plan including rear extensions. 3 storeys; remodelled 4-window front. Former wide openings reduced early/mid C19 except for blocked window opening to 1st floor 3rd from left; early/mid C19 hornless sashes with glazing bars. Ground floor of No.18 (left) has pair of doors between 2 windows; 16 & 18 have similar pair of doors towards their left and window towards right, panelled doors with top panels glazed except for right-hand door of 18. INTERIOR not inspected. In 1980 there were a number of surviving C18 features including 2-panel doors. (The Penryn Survey Group: 1980-1990).
