GV II

House at end of row. Mid to late C18, but some C17 brickwork in rear wing. Flemish bond brickwork, tile roof, brick stack. Lofty front block with parapet linked to rear gabled wing, probably of earlier date. 3 storeys, 3-windowed. 12-pane sashes to brick voussoirs with keystones decorated with urns at second floor and floral pattern to first floor, stone cills. Ground floor has a late C20 shop front, which has been cut across the former windows, of which the keystones and voussoirs are partly visible. To the left is a replica 6-panel door in a pilaster doorcase with fluted frieze and closed pediment. Above the ground floor is a plain plat-band, and above the stone modillion cornice is a blocking course and coped parapet. The parapet returns to the right, which is a plain gable wall with an external brick stack. A stepped-down link unit is attached to the back wing in 3 storeys, 2-windowed, with wide flush lights to segmental heads. The back wall rises to a coped parapet with a hipped roof at this end. INTERIOR not inspected.
